On Saturday afternoon/evening, I decided to stop by El Boquerón. I had nothing planned; I just wanted to enjoy the view and get a quick bite to eat, without anything too heavy. As I was walking up, I saw one of the signs for El Lomo y La Aguja and decided to try it.nnThe entrance is a bit hidden—if you don't have a GPS or Waze, it's easy to miss—and the access is unpaved, but once there, the restaurant seemed nice, with a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. I didn't have to wait to be seated, and the service was excellent, so much so that I ended up ringing the bell in gratitude.nnSince it started to rain, the staff was very attentive and lowered some blinds that protected us without any problem. As an added bonus: they offered me a complimentary broth, a simple but very welcome gesture.nnI ordered half a pound of chicharrones and a soda. They were good, and came with onion and lemon, but honestly, I was expecting a different style: more like without the white part (the fat or the skin) and nicely browned. It was probably because I didn't specify this when ordering, so I'll keep that in mind for next time.nnThe view is very pretty, although I couldn't fully enjoy it because of the rain. Overall, it's a place I definitely want to return to, this time to try a heartier dish and take it easy.

The meat is tasty and well cut. But they don't offer appetizers or broth, since each dish is $13, and we ordered one for $25. There are very few vegetables, and they don't offer salads.
